The precise measurement of precision watch parts poses many special challenges to image measurement systems used for measurement and process quality control. Small part size, various shapes, different gear geometry, and strict tolerances are all key considerations in the design process control and inspection of watch parts for measurement applications. In addition, the watch components used by the material and the degree of surface treatment will make the detection process additional difficulty.
